Billy is a native of Key West, where he was raised before graduating from Key West High School in 2000. After attending college at the University of Florida, Billy started his professional career as an attorney in Tampa Bay. After five years of practice, Billy and his wife, Michelle, decided to permanently move to Key West, where they now reside with their children, Brantley, William III and Leighton. In his seat as the President of Spottswood Hotels, and Chief Investment Officer thereafter, Billy was a leader among trends in growth for the high-demand market of the Florida Keys and hospitality real estate development. Billy's experience in real estate and investment brought him to become a founder and the CEO of One of One Technologies, Inc. He currently has shifted his focus to growing the portfolio of vacation rentals and building a technology platform that will become a channel for hospitality distribution and asset management for third-party owners.

Robert Jr. is part of the 7th generation of the Spottswood family to call Key West home. Attended the University of Florida and graduated with a degree in food and resource economics before studying law at Nova University in South Florida. During his time at Nova, he worked with several environmental groups, including the Everglades Law Clinic, in advocating for responsible development and preservation of vital native habitats for endangered and threatened species. Robert Jr. joined Baker & Hostetler LLP in 2015 and focused his practice on real estate and the hospitality industry, specifically fractional ownership resorts. In 2019, Robert Jr. and his wife Stephanie, decided to permanently move to Key West, where they now reside with their children Florence, Eleanor, and Robert III. He is President of Spottswood Management, Inc., General Counsel for Spottswood Companies, Inc, Co-President of Keystar, and is also a Partner at Spottswood, Spottswood, Spottswood, & Sterling, PLLC. He is also a Board Member of the Fish and Wildlife Foundation of Florida and The Nature Conservancy.

Damien’s career has spanned all facets of hospitality, including owning and operating hotels and vacation rentals. Damien started his career with HVS in the hotel valuation group before joining JPMorgan’s Real Estate & Lodging Investment Bank, where he was involved in over $1.0bn of capital raising and M&A activity across all real estate types. Most recently, Damien led WS Development’s hospitality initiative, developing hotels at mixed-use and lifestyle centers across the United States. Damien is a graduate of the Cornell School of Hotel Administration and received his MBA with honors from Cornell’s Johnson School of Business. Damien lives in Boston with his wife and two daughters.

Robert A. Spottswood was born in Key West, Florida. He graduated from Key West High School in 1975, the University of Florida in 1979 and the University of Miami, School of Law in 1982. As a partner in the Miami law firm of Taylor, Brion, Buker & Greene, Mr. Spottswood specialized in corporate law. While in Miami, Mr. Spottswood made successful investments in real estate, banking and broadcasting. He returned home to Key West in 1992 to create what would become the Keys largest hospitality company. In the three decades since, Spottswood Companies has grown to become one of the leading real estate development, property management and hospitality businesses in the Florida Keys. The company was responsible for the creation of the Hyatt Vacation Club and for the development of numerous timeshare, hotel and commercial properties including Hyatt Sunset Harbor, Hyatt Beach House, Hyatt Windward Pointe, Key West Marriott Beachside Hotel, Faro Blanco Resort & Yacht Club and many others. The company also provides asset management to the legendary La Concha Hotel, a hotel once owned by the Spottswood family and made famous by luminaries such as Tennessee Williams and Ernest Hemingway.

Over his career, Michael has invested $1.0B of equity in both real estate and corporate acquisitions totaling over $2.5B of real estate assets and $2.0B of allocated basis in corporate assets. Prior to Loci Capital, Michael was a Managing Principal and voting member of the investment committee at Lubert-Adler Partners, an $8.0B real estate private equity fund with $23.0B of total assets based in Philadelphia, PA. Michael was also previously a Partner at Boos Development Group and worked in JP Morgan’s real estate investment banking group in New York. Michael graduated with honors from Georgetown University, and received an MBA with honors from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where he was a Joseph Wharton Fellow. Michael now lives in Tampa with his wife and three children, where they spend their free time wakesurfing, fishing and playing soccer.
