Columbia Restaurant

For over 117 years, Columbia Restaurant has served up gourmet cuisine using family recipes and traditions and it all started with the dream of a young Spanish-Cuban immigrant.

The Place:

In 1903, Casimiro Hernandez Sr. helped open the Columbia Saloon, which later became the Columbia Restaurant in 1905. Since then, the original restaurant has expanded to an entire city block and is now the largest Spanish restaurant in the world.

The Food:

The menu is vast and story-oriented. Each dish reflects five generations of family ownership. Between their Sopas and Ensalada, endless Tapas, massive Platos Principales and delightful Postres, you’re sure to leave very full and very satisfied.

Our Recommendation:

Begin your meal with their original, award-winning “1905” salad. The Paella a la Valencia is bursting with seafood, chicken and pork making it the perfect entree to follow up. Top it all off with a slice of Flan and be sure to wash it down with a glass of their signature sangria.
